The USNS Red Cloud recently paid a visit to the Chuuk Lagoon, one of the Federated States of Micronesia, to commemorate the WWII battle known as Operation Hailstone.
Among the speakers at the event was Ambassador Robert Riley, the Chuuk Lt Governor, and Capt. Hans Sholley representing COMNAVMARIANAS. Following the program, the three speakers and Patriot's Captain Agold embarked on boats into the lagoon where they laid wreaths to commemorate the lives lost during the battle.
