MARAD recently Turbo Activated three of the ships that Patriot manages in order to test our readiness to get the vessels tested and underway within 96 hours. When the activation call from MARAD was received the RRF operations team jumped into action and began crewing up the Cape Orlando, Cape Texas and GT Admiral Callaghan. The Port Engineers and ship’s RRF crew quickly made preparations to bring their ships back to life and get underway within the allotted time. All three ships were successfully activated and then conducted sea trials and naval maneuvers before safely returning to their home berths.
