Patriot currently manages 10 vessels within the Ready Reserve Force (RRF). These vessels can be activated on short notice—typically within five to ten days—to transport military equipment, supplies, and vehicles during times of crisis, conflict, or humanitarian missions. These vessels are Large, Medium-Speed Roll-on/Roll-off (LMSR) ships designed to transport heavy military cargo such as tanks, armored vehicles, and other equipment required for large-scale military operations. With multiple vehicle decks and the ability to carry thousands of square feet of cargo, these ships are vital for prepositioning and surge sealift operations, enabling rapid deployment of U.S. military forces worldwide.
