Who We Are and What We Stand For

Patriot Maritime is built on precision, professionalism, and a relentless commitment to readiness. Our teams support the U.S. Government’s most vital maritime missions, as well as commercial trade —delivering reliability, speed, and unmatched expertise across every vessel and operation.

From activating ships on short notice to navigating the globe under demanding conditions, we operate with one goal in mind: mission success through superior service.

Trusted to Deliver. Ready to Respond.

Patriot Maritime is a recognized leader in government maritime operations, specializing in the management and operation of complex vessels in support of readiness for both commercial enterprise and U.S. national security. With decades of experience and a reputation for precision, Patriot is proud to support key missions for the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), Military Sealift Command (MSC), U.S. Maritime Service Academies and commercial maritime partners.

Currently, Patriot manages:

  • Ten Ready Reserve Force (RRF) vessels for MARAD
  • Eight Watson-class Large, Medium-Speed Roll-on/Roll-off (LMSR) vessels for MSC
  • Two Bob Hope-class Large, Medium-Speed Roll-on/Roll-off (LMSR) vessels for MSC
  • One Training Ship for the California State University Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime).
  • One Chemical/Oil Products MR Tanker on behalf of Federated Maritime
  • The Haina Patriot, a Shallow Draft Chemical/Oil Products Tanker owned by Patriot Maritime

Over the years, Patriot has expertly managed a wide array of vessel types—including RO-ROs, LASH vessels, and general cargo ships—powered by steam turbines, slow and medium-speed diesels, and gas turbines.

Mission-Ready. No Matter the Mission.

Patriot has successfully completed over 100 on-time vessel activations—often with no advance notice—demonstrating unmatched responsiveness, skilled staffing, and proven operational readiness. Whether supporting rapid deployment exercises or critical real-world missions such as Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Patriot’s teams have consistently ensured ships are fully prepared, mission-capable, and strategically positioned.

Patriot also has a long history of managing commercial vessels for clients such as American President Lines (APL), Schuyler Line Navigation Co. (SLNC) and Federated Maritime. This often includes technical management, crewing, drydock management, regulatory compliance, financial oversight and other responsibilities.

Proven Performance, Global Reach.

Our mariners and shoreside teams are trained to the highest standards and are experienced in managing vessels in both Reduced Operating Status (ROS) and Full Operating Status (FOS)—even in some of the most remote environments in the world.
